VBS directors, station leaders, and volunteers already have a daily theme. Email that theme, the Bible story, or a station craft idea to draw@churchcoloringpage.com. We send a printable black-and-white coloring page back as PDF and PNG.

This summer’s theme, not last year’s kit

Stock VBS coloring PDF packs are built for a publisher’s week, not yours. They miss the daily bumper, the rotation story, and the craft that needs a quiet backup when glue bottles run out. Church Coloring Page draws from the note you send the night before — or at lunch between stations.

There is no download library of leftover themes and no app to install. The request is an ordinary email. The drawing comes back to the same inbox, ready to print for stations, closing assembly, or take-home folders.

What to put in the email

Send today’s theme in your own words. Name the story, the station, or the verse on the take-home bag. Attach the director’s PDF or a photo of the decorating poster if that is faster than retyping.

• A daily VBS theme or bumper (“Day 2: God is our refuge” with a lighthouse)
• The rotation story: Jonah and the fish, Jesus calming the storm, the empty tomb
• A station craft backup so hands stay busy when the snack line is long
• A style note if you have one: simple Sunday-school lines, stained glass, a storybook frame

Volunteers write things like:

• “Day 3 theme: Jesus calms the storm — bold outlines for the craft station”
• “This year's VBS is Anchor of Hope: a lighthouse, a dock, and kids in life jackets”
• “Jonah and the fish for Thursday's rotation, letters big enough to color”
• “Closing assembly take-home: the empty tomb, simple Sunday-school lines”

What you get back

A letter- or A4-sized PDF with thick outlines kids can color at a station table, plus a PNG if you want to preview it on a phone or drop it into the opening-assembly slide. The page is black-and-white on purpose so the crayons do the rest.

Need a change before tomorrow’s rotation? Reply to the finished email. “Make the boat bigger,” “add a lighthouse,” or “fewer people” is a revision. We redraw from that note and send another PDF and PNG.

From one volunteer to a whole week of VBS

Guests can try it from any inbox. A free account keeps a small monthly pool for a ministry that emails in each day’s story.
